At night after Brooklyn goes to bed and before Jason gets home from work, it's just me and my Addy girl. I usually go about doing some chore that I put off until I didn't have a two-year-old hanging around, but tonight I decided to just get on the floor with Adalyn and have a little mommy/daughter time. I realized she's getting so big!! She has been laughing pretty regularly now, but last night I got her belly-laughing, which was adorable. And tonight we had a full-on confersation for maybe 10 minutes. She gets this serious look on her face like she really is trying to tell me something and wants me to understand. Then she just talks and talks. I also realized tonight that I've only put her on her tummy maybe once or twice before. I just never think about it! So I let her have that perspective and after about 30 seconds she rolled over onto her back. That was exciting. I just think she's the most beautiful little thing and am simultaneously excited and sad that she's growing up so fast.
We were playing with toys and I put this on her face. Doesn't she look like a little flower?
