Getting Ready

Jason and I have long said that we are not interesting enough to have a blog. We decided we wouldn't start one until we had a baby to brag about! Well, it doesn't seem like it's been long enough, but that day is almost here. We got baby Brooklyn's room all set up, simple as it might be, and are just waiting for her arrival. She is due in exactly one week. I feel good, just tired. Jason is feeling stressed because he needs to get all of his homework done in advance in case she comes sometime this week. That way, he won't be too far behind if he has to miss a few classes. I am so proud of him for being such a good daddy already. We just bought a new (to us) Toyota Camry on Saturday. It is a lot roomier than our last car and has a lot less miles. It is the first time either of us has ever made a purchase that big, and, although we felt good about it at the time, it is easy to have a little buyer's remorse. Hopefully it will all work out. It should be a good car that will last us a long time and make it a lot easier to get a baby in and out of the back seat. We are nervous, but excited for our lives to change so much so soon.
