A Couple More

Today I turned on some music to get myself excited about cleaning the house. An upbeat song came on and Brooklyn started dancing around. Then she shouted, "Shake your bootie!! Shake your bootie, Super Readers!" So I started dancing too. She checked out my moves for a minute and then commented, "You're dangerous!" It was pretty much hilarious.

Brooklyn can say her own prayers now. I tell her to pray and she just goes off saying "Heavenly Father, thank you my toys, thank you my mommy, thank you my blankets, thank you my potty...." and on and on. But lately she's started to get a little irreverent about it so I've tried to go back to telling her what to say. I say, "Thank thee for my bed, help me to be good..." and she says after me "Thank thee for her bed, help her to be good..." I'm torn between thinking she's totally smart for knowing how to change the pronoun and being frustrated that she's not doing it right.
