Promoted!

I just wanted to tell everybody about Jason's new promotion at work. He has been moved off of the call floor at Focus where he was working as a Customer Service Representative for Quest. He is now the quality monitor. He listens to the other agents' calls and meets with them one-on-one to give them encouragement and suggestions for improvement. He is excited about this job because it means something better for the resume. Also, it allows him to do something about the poor service that he was observing his coworkers give. I am so proud of him. I know that his boss really trusts him and has long considered him one of her best agents. This just confirms that. He is so good that she wants him to teach everyone else to be as good as he is! He really cares that people have a good experience when they call. He is always telling me about how he would feel if he called the phone company and got treated the way some of his coworkers treat their customers. The other good thing about this job is that it is salaried and comes to about a 27% pay increase! Yay!! Now we just need to find him a good internship for the summer. If anybody knows of any possible opportunities in Human Resources starting the end of April or later, PLEASE let us know! We have already had a couple of prospects fall through. We are willing to relocate. Thanks!
