Today Brooklyn coughed a couple times and said, "I'm coughing, Mommy." In mock alarm I exclaimed, "Oh no! Don't cough!" She replied, "I can cough if I want to!" Sassy pants.

The other day Brooklyn was in the shower with me, sitting at my feet. I wasn't paying much attention to the fact that she was rubbing her back up against my legs, back and forth. Then she said, "I'm scratching my back, Mommy!" Guess I needed a shave!

Brooklyn was in the bath the other day and I gave her a wash cloth to play with. She started scrubbing the side of the tub with it and said, "I'm cleaning, Mommy. I'm cleaning the germs on the tub." Cute.
